Close your eyes and imagine being on a super yacht controlled by the Apple iPad. Where you have control of everything but the captain’s steering wheel, all with the most leisurely gesture on the iPad.

It was fun to watch this video, especially being an old school dj that started in the early 80′s. Simply to see where technology is taking the dj, I know where it’s going but seeing creativity like this gets me fired up!
I wish I thought of this! I mean, I think I did think of this but did I take the time to create it? Nope.

This app was put together by Theo watson as a response to Todd Vanderlin’s AR scratching. The app uses the accelerometer of the ipod touch to control the speed of a ‘vinyl record’ on the ipod screen.
The application was made with openFrameworks and features the track Full Clip by Gang Starr. Theo Watson credits the use of Zach Gage’s ofxALSoundPlayer class. The creator of this application plans to make an iphone scratching application next.
When I was growing up I used to dream that cars would fly but I never dreamed that you’d be able to do stuff like this with a phone.
